The MiraCell™ cellular confinement system's multi layer design makes it very adaptable to specific retaining wall application requirements. The MiraCell™ system confines and reinforces granular fill, producing a uniform structural mass that resists lateral pressures and maintains structural integrity. MiraCell™ sections can be used in vertical, near vertical or stepped designs and the system supports non-structural facias or natural vegetative cover. A variety of infill material can be used with MiraCell™ earth retention system. The choice of infill material is based upon the demand of specific project / problem. Infill materials include - Granular materials such as sand, gravel
or graded stone.

The MiraCell™ cellular confinement systems provide the most flexible retention structure available. Due to this flexibility MiraCell™ walls can be constructed over more variable and compressible foundation soils than systems with conventional rigid earth retaining structures. A large deformation can be tolerated without loss of structural integrity or adversely affecting the aesthetics. Composite Retaining Walls Cellular confinement with MiraCell™ system eliminates the need for costly structural facia panels. The MiraCell™ system provides a fully confined wall facing that can be used with a variety of tie back systems such as geogrid reinforcements, earth anchors etc. Durable System The MiraCell™ earth retention system is
extremely durable, manufactured from high density
polyethylene material that is resistant to penetration by
chemicals and water. Unlike concrete steel and timber based
retaining structures the MiraCell™ system eliminates
potential for cracking, spalling, splintering or corrosion.
The MiraCell™ system is very adaptable to structures exposed
to sea water, extreme pH soils and chemicals.
