The following additional material shall be required to fulfill the design requirements and intended application. These materials shall include high strength Polyester Tendons, Galvanized Industrial staples, Stell J pins and Earth Anchors.

• Polyester Tendons
  The polyester tendon shall be manufacture from bright, high tenacity, industrial – continuous filament polyester yarn woven into braided strap. Elongation shall not exceed 9- 15% at break. Tendons of minimum Break Strangth varying from 2000N to 7000N can be used depending on the design requirement

 

• Anchoring Components
  MiraCell™ sections, with or without tendons, shall be anchored with stake anchors as detailed in construction drawing. Rows of stake anchors shall engage and / or bear against the cell wall or engage and hold the integral tendons against the foundation soil. The size, type and distribution of stake anchors shall be as shown in the construction drawings.

 

• Steel J-Pin Stakes

  Steel J-Pin Stakes shall be fabricated from mild steel reinforcement bars. Each stake shall have a minimum radius, 180 degree return at one end. Rod diameter shall be 10mm, 12mm 16mm or 20mm. Stake length shall be according to the construction drawings and ground conditions. Galvanizing if specified shall be in accordance to AASHTO M-218.

  

   

• Wooden Stakes

  Wooden stakes shall be made from durable local hard wood (specify type) and be free from knots which will affect the strength of the stake. The cross section of the stake shall be vary depending on the design requirement.
